Okay, so , what is so different about you? you may ask. That the aliens find you so damn irresistible? That is a good question and as far as i can tell im not much different from most other earthlings. Im pretty much your average American male. Average height, a little overweight and ever so slowly balding. All things considered I like to believe that I am a little higher on the good looks scale than most but that is balanced by my below average wage potential, all things considered.
There are a couple things about me that do set me slightly apart from the average person. But again i dont know if these minor differences are the trigger for my many alien visits or not. The first is my IQ.
Fearing that i was , as the professional term was back then, "dumber than a box of rocks" because i never raised my hand or participated in class, my IQ was tested in the second grade. Sure that there had been a mistake the school made me take the test twice because to everyone's surprise and much to my fathers chagrin it was discovered that I had the highest IQ in the school, including the teachers.
I wont go into how having a higher than average IQ means absolutely nothing in this country without large sums of money behind it. Lets just say it is one of the things that makes me slightly different. The second thing of difference is perhaps the more unusual.
I can remember everything, unlike a photographic memory, i do not literally remember everything in minute detail, I have memories just like anyone has memories. Some more vivid than others. But i dont have an age where my memories stop. most people cannot remember things before they were a certain age, like four or five. I can remember things all the way back. As much as I cherish the memories of my great grandparents who died when i was one and a half years old, the diaper rash incident when I was six months old is one memory I wish I could forget.
For many years I thought this was normal, and didnt question my ability, as a matter of fact as good as my long term memory is, my short term memory isnt anywhere near as good, hence the bad grades in school.
So, is this something the aliens find interesting?, i dunno. Is this the reason i remember their visits when most people succumb to their brain freeze technology and remember nothing? I dunno.
